Residence permit renewal

As the study permit is valid for only 1 year, you will have to apply for renewal annually.

Residency application

Residency (residenza) is not mandatory, but it brings with it several benefits that we can let you discover. But what is it exactly? It is the act of registering into the population registry of the area in which you will live.

We advise you to register at your Municipality (Comune), if you are planning to stay in our country after graduation.

Non-standard situation

It may happen (only once in your lifetime hopefully!) that you find yourself in a situation you are not able to handle.

Let's have an example: you have just applied for residence permit renewal and you are holding your postal office receipt. You are then invited to attend an important conference in Spain, but, as you should know, you cannot travel to EU contries with the only receipt.

How can we help you?
  • Providing you with the list of documents needed to report your case to the competent authorities involved (Italian Embassy or Consulate/ Police Department/Interior Ministry “Prefettura”)
  • Drafting the case report and submit it to the authority/es involved

Family cohesion or reunification

General provisions

San Martino is not responsible for the procedure outcomes, whose evaluation is subjected to the Italian competent authority.

San Martino will provide You a reasonable update about the progress report of the procedure. The above update, in terms of response time and content, will be provided at sole discretion of San Martino Immigration Offices.

Compensation and payment

In consideration for the Consulting Services, the Consultant shall invoice the Client and such invoice shall be due and payable within 14 days of the Client’s receipt of the invoice.

The above cost is calculated on a reasonable estimate of the timing for a normal procedure.

In case of deviation from this standard an additional cost can be added.

The service has a validity of 6 months form the payment date.
