Residence permit conversion

Housing eligibility (idoneità abitativa)

    PLEASE NOTE: from December 2024 – following issuance of Law-Decree 145/2024  (converted by Law 187/2024) and the modifications to art. 28 of Immigration Law (T.U Immigrazione - D.lg 286) to be able to request family cohesion OR reunification while holding a residence permit for study reasons, it is now necessary that the first migrant has already been regularly in Italy for at least two (2) years.

Non-standard situation

It may happen (only once in your lifetime hopefully!) that you find yourself in a situation you are not able to handle.

Let's have an example: you have just applied for residence permit renewal, and you are holding your postal office receipt. You are then invited to attend an important conference in Spain, but, as you should know, you cannot travel to EU countries with the only receipt.

Check residence permit status

General provisions

San Martino is not responsible for the procedure outcomes, whose evaluation is subjected to the Italian competent authority.

San Martino will provide You a reasonable update about the progress report of the procedure. The above update, in terms of response time and content, will be provided at sole discretion of San Martino Immigration Offices.

Compensation and payment

In consideration for the Consulting Services, the Consultant shall invoice the Client and such invoice shall be due and payable within 14 days of the Client’s receipt of the invoice.

The above cost is calculated on a reasonable estimate of the timing for a normal procedure. Pursuant to Article 52 of the Consumer Code, you have the right to withdraw the payment made within fourteen days if the service has not been used.

In case of deviation from this standard an additional cost can be added.

The service has a validity of 6 months form the payment date.
